Our Outreach Programs offer interactive and edu-taining lessons your students are sure to love.
Within 20 miles of CMT:
- $155 for the first program
- $125 for the second program on the same day
20-50 miles from CMT:
- $180 for the first program
- $150 for the second program on the same day
If you are located more than 50 miles from the Museum, please contact us for rates and requirements.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due within two weeks of making a reservation. Outreach Programs are offered depending on staff availability. Limit 50 children per program. Programs run for about 45 minutes. Requirements: Outdoor space and/or open floor space. Tables and chairs for crafts.

Wee Can Count
Using “10 Little Rubber Ducks” by Eric Carle, children will practice counting, play a fun game where we’ll move our bodies, and each child will design a duck using shapes! Supplemental Educational Information
Did you know we all have emotions and that we wear our emotions differently? We’ll read “It’s Okay to Be Different” by Todd Parr, move and groove as we learn a song and dance about our emotions, play a game and create Todd Parr-inspired self-portraits! Supplemental Educational Information
Get ready to rev up your engines as we learn about transportation! We’ll read “Cars Galore” by Peter Stein, stretch our bodies out to transportation yoga, and use shapes to create a vehicular masterpiece. Supplemental Educational Information
Wonders of Space
Sponsored by Planetary Science Institute. Little astronomers will enjoy sorting celestial objects or discovering properties of space rocks (meteorites) through hands-on investigations. They will begin to grasp the great sizes and distances of these dynamic bodies in our Solar System. Students will then get to create a model of their very own planet.
