Adventure Learning Programs:
All Adventure Learning Programs are age appropriate and include guided learning, an activity or demonstration, and Museum exploration.
Adventure Learning: $4.50 per person
Power Up! (1st - 3rd)
Utilizing the newest addition to Electri-City, students will compare muscle power with solar power by “turning on” our greatest renewable resource — the sun! Classes will also enjoy doing experiments with our ever popular, hair-raising Van De Graff generator and learn why safety precautions are necessary with electricity.

Depths of the Sea (1st - 3rd)
- Dive into the depths of the sea with our 110 gallon Touch Tank! Children will see and touch live salt water specimens including: sea star, sea urchins, hermit crabs and more. Students will be introduced to the delicate and unique ecosystem of the world’s oceans and identify various marine animals.

Healthy Choices (1st - 3rd)
Students will explore the health and wellness exhibit while learning about healthier eating habits and discovering that healthy choices can be enjoyable and easy to make. Games and hands-on activities will reinforce a better understanding of the food groups.

Safety First (Pre-K & K)
Within our Public Safety exhibit, preschool-aged children will learn how to stay safe and sound. Fire safety will be conveyed through stories, crafts and games. Children will walk away with a better understanding of basic safety practices and how to implement them at home and school.

The Art of Color (Prek & K)
Using books such as Mouse Paint, My Many Colored Days or Bear in a Square, children will learn color identification, color mixing, how colors affect their moods and why colors may help their creative process. Literacy, movement activities and a hands-on art project will also be part of this tour.

It Makes Sense! (Prek & K)
Preschoolers and kindergartners will enjoy investigating all of their senses! Highlights include Me and My Senses or It Looked Like Spilt Milk story times, fun games and doing activities that encourage inquiry, questioning and forming hypotheses. Discovering their senses and how they work is sure to be an exciting and fun-filled hands-on experience.

All Aboard! (Prek & K)
3,2,1 blast off! In this revved up tour, children will discover various types of transportation through stories such as The Race and Bunnies on the Go. After story time, they will have an opportunity to play games and make a craft that reinforce the benefits of using various modes of transport.
Let's Get Fit! (Prek & K)
It is never too early to learn how to be healthy and strong. While exploring books such as Why Should I Eat Well? and Good Enough To Eat, little ones will learn fun ways to eat balanced meals and play fun fitness games that reinforce a healthy lifestyle.
Requirements
*We REQUIRE a 1:5 adult to student ratio for all groups in order to promote a safe and exciting learning experience for all children. One adult admitted FREE with every 5 children.
We suggest booking 6 months in advance to to ensure preferred date.
Reservations must me made at least seven days before a visit in order to recieve the group rate.
A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due two weeks after booking a reservation.
